The plateau in front of the complex, with a stunning panoramic view overlooking Edolo and Malonno valleys, is the right place to enjoy a day on the mountain.
Malga Stain shelter is the starting or arrival point of Sentiero n.1 – Alta Via dell’Adamello, the main hiking trail of Adamello’s Park.
The shelter was created with the purpose of a ‘Malga’, an alpine cottage where milk, cheese and butter were produced. It became a shelter on 2003.
Since July 2017 the shelter has a new management, Davide with his family chose to undertake this new experience, leaving the city life to enjoy the Val Camonica nauralistic wonder and to raise its awareness.
On the top of Monte Colmo, at the bottom of Adami peak, with direct view on Passo Gallinera.
The shelter is easily accessible by everyone through a 45’ walking trail from the last parking area.
A place, where to rest and relax surrounded by a fascinating naturalistic landscape at the bottom of the majestic Adami peak.
The shelter provides a complete welcome service: bar, inside and outside table service, with direct view on Adami peak and on Passo Gallinera. Home cooking and local specialities, overnight accommodation, hot shower. Half or full board service.
For a complete full immersion in the nature since 2018 two tree tents have been placed. The tree house idea transformed in a comfortable hammock that can host 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Located nearby the shelter, guests will have access to all services.
